Things to do Outdoors in Stockholm
Sledding in Stockholm

There are lots of places within the city for sledding – though of course, you’ll need to bring your own sled. Try hilly parks like Vasaparken, Tantolunden, Hagaparken, Hellasgården and more.
Ice Skating in Kungsträdgården

Kungsträdgården is the most popular place for ice skating and it’s right in the middle of the city. You can also rent skates here or just bring your own for free.
Skiing at Hammarbybacken

You can enjoy this family-friendly urban ski hill at Hammarbybacken with slopes of varying difficulty, plus lifts, snow-park, children’s area and café for refreshments. Located just south of town in Hammarby Sjöstad.
Winter Walks in Nature

Places around town like Djurgården, Nacka Nature Reserve and Hellasgården are stunning in the snow. Make sure to dress warm with waterproof boots and coat. Keep an eye out for rabbit and deer tracks. If you’re lucky, you might even see one in person!
Sauna and Ice Dip at Hellasgården

For the ultimate Swedish experience, why not try a traditional sauna and quick dip in an icy, cold Swedish lake at Hellasgården? You can reach this winter area by car or by bus 401 from Slussen. And for those not interested in extreme heat and cold together, Hellasgården is also a great place for ice skating, nature walks, sledding and cross-country skiing
